Alexis Bledel, the lead actress from critically-acclaimed Gilmore Girls, has signed on to make her return to TV. And it’s going to be a really big deal. Bledel will play young intern Julia Wise on the series finale of ER, which will be a special two-hour look at a day at County General.
Alexis Bledel is one of my favorite actresses for her portrayal of Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls, but I don’t know if it was her as much as the characters Amy Sherman-Palladino created. So here’s my message to Alexis: “Just don’t screw it up. Be solid, and just get out of the way for the other actors on the show.”
ER‘s series finale will air on April 12, a month following George Clooney’s return as Dr. Doug Ross.
